Friday Free-For-All

Heya, folks, seasons greetings and all that crap. It be Friday, so we get some room to play today! The sky is the limit, as it were, except for a few rules we need to just remind y'all about:


NO spoilers in prompts for at least one week after airing. Also, if your response contains spoilers, please warn for them and leave at least 3 empty lines before starting your fic.

Also, to make sure everyone gets a chance to prompt... no more than five prompts in a row, no more than 3 per fandom. You can always come back and prompt more after yours have been answered.

Please remember to be kind to you code monkeys (who work hard at a job that is time consuming) and code your prompts properly (fandom, pairing, prompt).

Examples:

Numb3rs, Colby/Charlie, The first time Colby called him "Professor"

Criminal Minds/Leverage, Reid/Eliot, "It's getting hot in here..."

"We're already dead are we?"

Speirs looked up from where he was sitting against one of the church's walls. Lipton was staring down at him, crisp new snow catching on his eyelashes.

"Been talking to the men."

Lipton huffed something that might be called a laugh and settled down next to him.

"We're finally out of Bastogne and you come out here to sit in the snow. I'm starting to wonder if you're as crazy as the men think you are."

Speirs quirked a small smile.

"I never lied to them, it'd be easiest for them if they remember that they've already given up their life. It's just not something that's easy to do."

"Easiest for battle maybe, but it doesn't work well for anything else." Lipton watched Speirs as he spoke, face in shadow and inscrutable. "If you're already dead you don't have anything to live for."

Speirs lifted his hand and Lipton watched him closely, still unsure as to his reaction. He relaxed with a smile when Speirs just rested his hand on his shoulder, warm and firm.

"Well I'll just have to work on that, won't I?"

He smiled and Lipton was suddenly rather worried by it.
