Friday Free-For-All
Heya, folks, seasons greetings and all that crap. It be Friday, so we get some room to play today! The sky is the limit, as it were, except for a few rules we need to just remind y'all about:
NO spoilers in prompts for at least one week after airing. Also, if your response contains spoilers, please warn for them and leave at least 3 empty lines before starting your fic.
Also, to make sure everyone gets a chance to prompt... no more than five prompts in a row, no more than 3 per fandom. You can always come back and prompt more after yours have been answered.
Please remember to be kind to you code monkeys (who work hard at a job that is time consuming) and code your prompts properly (fandom, pairing, prompt).
Examples:
Numb3rs, Colby/Charlie, The first time Colby called him "Professor"
Criminal Minds/Leverage, Reid/Eliot, "It's getting hot in here..."
Don't see anything that whets your appetite? Check out our lonely prompts archive here on delicious for some amazing ideas that just haven't been given homes yet.
Also, gird your loins, because next week is the start of yet another Quarterly Year Challenge, where we give you no prompts but instead offer lovely prizes to get you to write some of the prompts piling up in our archives.
Ready? Prompt!

And yes, at the time, she had a plan: break in, make a copy of the hard-drive, and get out again. But that was before they heard a noise and they just had the time to dive into a wardrobe.
"Who is that guy?" whispered Logan in her ear, making Veronica tingle all over despite the severity of the situation.
"That's Clarence Wiedman, head of security at Kane Software," she answered in kind.
Turnaround was fair play, but she couldn't help but feel annoyed at Logan's grin. They were supposed to be broken up, to hate each other's guts. That meant sniping at Logan and certainly not letting him tag along on a case, let alone end up crammed in a wardrobe with him whispering in his ear while she was praying that Clarence wouldn't notice what was going on on the computer.
"What's the plan now?" asked Logan, who was enjoying this way too much.
"We're making it up as we go," answered Veronica, looking out of the keyhole.
They waited until Clarence was done, and then they came out of the closet.
"Pfew!" said Logan, "that was close. What was the head of security of Kane Software doing in Mimi Lafleur's bedroom?"
"Retrieving his underwear, apparently," answered Veronica, trying to remain serious, and to ignore how much she'd been overreacting. "We were lucky, he's a dangerous man."
"Yeah, especially when he's missing his underwear!"
Veronica spent the entire trip back enduring Logan's jokes about how dangerous Clarence Wiedman was. She was sorely tempted to tell him exactly what she knew about the man, but she decided to save it for Mimi's husband - she didn't have the heart to spoil Logan's good mood.
"You know, that's a bit rich coming from you, considering that you were the one who insisted on stalking me because you thought Mimi might be dangerous!" she snapped at him instead.
"I didn't," he confessed. "I just wanted to come with you. And we were okay, in the end, see?"
Veronica deflated.
"Yeah, all right, we're okay," she admitted.
"And I'm the one who heard Clarence coming. Admit it, my hearing is way better than yours. See? That's a good reason to let me come with you."
Veronica sighed, remembering their last argument, when they'd broken up because, once more, Logan wanted to come with her on a case and Veronica didn't want him to.
"You see that we work better together?" he insisted.
Veronica relented. "But you'll do as I say, all right?"
"Yup," said Logan, with a satisfied grin on his face. "You're the one with a plan!"
