Steve checked his watch and groaned slightly. Tony was late for the team meeting, and as chairperson, Steve had to frown upon that. The others were gossiping and Steve dug out his phone, starting a text message. He'd gotten pretty good at texting, based purely on the fact that Tony tended to text him when bored - which was 90% of the time.
Where are you? he sent.
Magically lala land of awesomeness Tony sent back within a few minutes.
Steve narrowed his eyes, heart in his boots, Are you drunk?
What?! No, I'm at the hospital! Throwing up blood is apparently frowned upon. Tony replied. There was a little emoticon thingy that was probably supposed to be a hurt face.

"Steve?" Jan asked, flying over to him and landing on his shoulder. "Is Tony on his way?"
"He's in the hospital," Steve said, showing Jan the text about Tony throwing up blood. He switched back to the other text about Pepper and chuckled softly. Who'd you puke on?
One of the board directors. That's why it was awesome. Pepper is scaryscary. D:
Jan was trying not to laugh, "Oh god, really? Poor Tony!"
"Are you kidding?" Steve asked, looking at her. "I think this is the perfect time to put him on enforced leave."
"You should text Pepper," Jan said, pointing at his phone. "Conspiracies against Tony are always better with Pepper in on them."
Steve laughed and sent a text off to Pepper: If you need any help, the Avengers are more than willing to help restrain him
PLEASE came the response less than a minute later.
Turning to the others, Steve grinned. "Avengers! We've got a mission."
