I haven't read (but know a little bit here and there from) the Venom comics. Both the comic books and the movie trilogy have a wide spectrum of lovers and haters, from what I've seen. The movies are fun, they're not for everyone, haha, and it's clear that the cast/crew enjoyed making them, which is always great to see. :D
