Seeing Red
Synethesia is a condition where one sense can trigger another. I had a TA in college who had this condition. He saw color with sound. I imagine my voice being the color of pink since it's my favorite color. Today's theme is about the color red. I wonder what sound would make red. You can use red literally, figuratively, and/or symbolically.
The rules are as follows:
- No more than five prompts in a row.
- No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
- Use the character's full names and the fandom's full name
- No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here. Unfortunately, DW doesn’t have a cut tag, so use your best judgment when it comes to spoilers.
- If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above-mentioned spoiler cut. Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name] Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Other guidelines:
You may add specifics or guidelines to your prompts. Original fiction, fanfiction, and fanfic crossovers are welcome.
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2025 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

South Park - Kenny McCormick & Stan Marsh
It’s a plain black tee; the bloodstain shouldn’t even be visible. But Stan’s always had a sharper eye than people give him credit for, and there’s probably some faint discoloration from the peroxide that Kenny himself hadn’t noticed.
He doesn’t want to explain.
Shit, Stan probably— no, he definitely wouldn’t believe it, anyway.
The lie springs to Kenny’s tongue easily. Years of practice’ll do that, he supposes.
“Don’t worry, man. It ain’t my blood, it’s Cartman’s. I punched him in the face over a game of pool a couple weeks ago.”
That much, at least, was true— he had decked Cartman, even if it hadn’t been a hard enough hit to draw blood. Hopefully the story would be enough to settle Stan’s interest.
“Good for you,” Stan says mildly, and that seems to be the end of things.
Thank God.
Still, those eyes sweep over Kenny a little too analytically for his taste— Stan’s gaze is almost sharp enough to draw blood all on its own.
