Thursday: Misheard Lyrics

ravenspear, bringing you my last theme for the week.
Today, we're going to be playing with a theme close to my heart; Misheard Lyrics. Because we've probably all had lyrics we got totally, incredibly wrong. And sometimes they're really funny and/or fitting to our favorite characters/pairings. And if you are one of those people who've never gotten a song lyric wrong in your life, then I direct you to KissThisGuy.Com, so you can use (and lol at) other people's mishearings.
And, of course, we always have to follow the rules:
♥ No more than five "live" prompts at any time.
♥ No more than three prompts from a specific fandom.
♥ No spoilers in your prompts until at least a week after release/air/publication date. If your fill is spoilerly, mark it obviously as such.
♥ Respect our codemonkey overlords, and format your prompts in the way that is pleasing to them:

Silent Wings (Supernatural, 2014!Cas, PG)
Heaven was glorious.
Shining and pure, power crackling in the air like thunderbolts. He looked down at the mortal plane and frowned at their uncleanliness, scoffed at their ignorance, looked disapprovingly upon their transgressions.
And then for the first time in two thousand years, he walked upon the earth and felt it writhe beneath his stolen feet, twisting and leaping and buzzing with energy, life. And the humans were-- well, they were so human.
But then came the Devil, and the war that never stopped. His brothers fled like cowards, bats flocking to hide in their dank caves before the Morning Star. And the silence in his head, it was deafening. He wondered if this was what it was like to be human.
It was no wonder they were all so unhappy.
