Tuesday: 42 Words!

Greetings! I apologize for my absence yesterday, and I bring a prompt for today. It will be, quite simply: 42 words. Write stories that have exactly 42 words in them. I think we can manage that. :)

Here's your reminder about the rules:

> Post no more than five prompts in a row, and don't post more than three prompts for a single fandom. If someone fills a prompt of yours, you can then prompt again.
> There's to be no spoilers in prompts until a week from air/publication dates.
> If your fill contains spoilers, then please label it clearly and leave enough spaces for people to scroll on by.

Finally, please format your prompts like so, for our beloved code monkeys.

Examples:
> Supernatural, Gabriel/any, sacrifices to a pagan god
> Jeeves & Wooster, Jeeves/Bertie, personal service

All the bedtime stories end with the guy getting the girl, but his story ends with the guy getting another guy, except he’s not really a guy; he’s an angel in a trench coat.

And he’s okay with that.

They DO all end with the guy getting the girl! The world seriously does need a few guy/guy fairy tales & nursery rhymes. Especially when the guy gets the male-looking angel in a trench coat. ;)
