Tuesday: Tropes
Good morning! I'm
hobnailedboots and I'm hosting this week.
The theme for today is tropes (for which, see tvtropes.org): maybe someone's show is falling victim to Executive Meddling? Perhaps people need to be Undercover Lovers?
As always, remember the rules:
-No more than five prompts in a row. If someone fills one of your prompts, you are then free to prompt again!
-No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
-No spoilers in prompts!
-If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.
Prompts should be formatted as follows:
-Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt
Some examples:
-Merlin, Arthur/Merlin, Belligerent Sexual Tension
-Supernatural, Dean/Castiel, Green-Eyed Epiphany
-Harry Potter, Malfoys, Magical Nanny
You don't need to link to a specific trope; as long as it's a known archetype or convention then it's fine (e.g. shared body heat).
Have fun, everyone!

fill,
John likes girls. He likes everything about girls: the softness of their curves; their size; their breasts; and their hair. Sherlock is the opposite of what he likes. Sherlock is all angles and height and there's really no way that John could look at him in a certain light and see a woman.
Nevertheless.
"You're staring," says Sherlock, from behind the newspaper he's reading.
John is. Sherlock crumples up the Sunday Times and throws it on the floor--when he first met Sherlock John was sure he wouldn't have to worry about cleanliness, but that couldn't be further from the truth--and looks at him.
"You're thinking too much."
John is.
