I'm not sure if this is what you wanted, but it's what came out.

Ginny can’t bear to listen to the radio anymore, even if Fred and George have their own channel, she hasn’t touched the Prophet in weeks, and the Quibbler hasn’t published anything since Luna disappeared.
She never thought that she would miss factual news this much, no matter how unreliable, but now she sees why the Death Eaters have cut off all outside communication. She has no news of Harry, Ron and Hermione, they might be halfway to Voldemort’s lair or they could be stranded in the middle of nowhere, starving to death, no closer to their goal than she is to her freedom.
“Are you okay, Ginny,” Lavender Brown asks, still under the illusion that they’re sisters-in law when she really wouldn’t give this girl the time of day, if she asked for it.
“My brother, my best friend, and my boyfriend are fighting for their lives and for the wizarding community. My family is back home, at our house, trying to find a way to stay safe after our house was burned down. But am I there with any of them? Am I helping them make a difference or being useful, in any way? No. I’m stuck here, on this cot, doing nothing, with you. So, no, Lavender, no I am not okay.”
Lavender stays silent for a very long moment before saying, “You’re not the only one hurting here, Ginny.”
No, she might not be the only one hurting, but finally getting some reliable news wouldn’t so bad either.
