Tuesday: Role Reversal
Today's theme is Role Reversal. The ole switcheroo. Make the servant the master, the boss the employee, the poor character rich, the man the woman, the villain the good guy, the animal or alien the human...wherever your imagination takes you.

No fill, but ...
If Frigga thought she could not bear a child, and Odin, desperate, brought her a Jotun child to be their 'firstborn'. And then, they find out with Loki's birth that, whoopsie, she can bear children.
So we have Thor, perfect, golden Thor, the epitome of an Asgardian, finding out he is a Jotun. And Loki, the trickster, the non-warrior, the second son, discovering he is the true son of Asgard.
I wonder if that would turn out better or worse, for all concerned. Heh.

But, in all honesty, I'm pretty sure that the whole 'lets steal a Jotun' plan was going to to turn out badly no matter which son it was.
Re: No fill, but ...
*tilts head* Possibly Thor would take being a Jotun better. Or, possibly, he'd actually just straight ignore it. Hard to tell. And Loki ... Loki's very 'divine right of kings'. If it's proven his brother is unsuitable for the throne, I don't think he'd be long in grabbing it.
That said, though ... that might still go reasonably well. I mean, there's a chance. Thor might cede gracefully, Loki might protect his brother ... There'd be hope, at least.
Re: No fill, but ...
Without the massive identity crisis for Loki, and everything that came with that, he might hang onto sanity better. He might still be a bit of a diva, granted, but he might be a sane one.
Thor ... is hard to call. He's just such a nice guy he could accept it ... or he could lose his temper. Either way ... It's all one big maybe.
Re: No fill, but ...
You realise that's not a comment fic, right? *smiles faintly* That's like a grand shakespearean epic of an AU.
Re: No fill, but ...
Re: No fill, but ...
Um. How villanous and/or manipulative do you like your Lokis?
Re: No fill, but ...
Don't matter really. Depends on the fic.
