Tuesday: Female Characters

merryghoul here again, and it's now time to show love to our female characters. Femslash, gen, or solo fics, it's all welcome, as long as there are female characters present.

The rules:

• No more than three prompts to a single fandom
• No more than five prompts at a time
• No spoilers in the prompts and if your fill has spoilers, please warn and and leave at least three spaces

Format:

• Fandom, Character, Prompt
• Fandom, Character/Character, Prompt

Examples:

• Leverage, Parker/Sophie, forced to dance together

Aye, he was. :-) I always loved him, Cassie, and Wild Thing and wish they would have done so much more with that universe! Leave it to Marvel: They always get rid of the best!

I know, right? Good job, Marvel! All of the new Avengers were great and I adored Spider-Girl and her cast (just look at all the Darkdevil fic I've written). I like Anya Corazon, too, I just don't see why we couldn't have both. Sigh.

....I have never even considered that.Now I'm seeing the guys hangin with Xander & having no clue how to handle Oz or Spike (when Dean's not getting shot down by Cordy, Faith, and Buffy) while Giles just gets fed up with everything and drinks tea in the cornor.

I...don't know. *runs off to check* Ah, apparently I have a weird copy and it should be River of London :S This series. In fact, people who change titles and words for different countries who speak the same language. Bah.

I have no shipping for these books, I just love all the characters and I love how Lesley's storyline is being handled.

I could take or leave Jake/Cassie most of the time and just recently discovered Rachel/Cassie when I started rereading the series.

Pretty much exactly this. Cassie was kind of meh for me the first time through, but she's definitely growing on me over the years after interacting with other fans, etc. (Btw, come play at the comm sometime, we have loads of fun for being such a small fandom!)

Her sisters are Jordan and Sara. :)

Btw, friends? Going back and reading all your archived fic for our joint fandoms is totally on my to-do list. :)

Oooh, did you get it early, you might have one of the really rare Advanced Reader Copies. Those are like gold dust.

I share your love for the way Aaronovitch is handling that. So many writers don't have injuries matter, but in this series scars are forever. Its a nice touch, and I like that Lesley has chosen to pursue magic all by herself. Peter might have been chosen by Nightingale, but dammit, Lesley chose herself and then made it happen on her own. Plus she is the better copper too.
