merryghoul here again, and it's now time to show love to our female characters. Femslash, gen, or solo fics, it's all welcome, as long as there are female characters present.

Supneratural, Mary Winchester, how does feel to be pregnant with a child you sold to a demon?

Everytime Mary lets herself be distracted she starts imagining him growing up happy and strong, working alongside his brother and father in the yard, going on dates, bringing her flowers in the springtime for no other reason than that she is his mother. Mary imagines him hugging her around the calf, face pressing into her hip the way Dean is just tall enough to do now and huging her around the shoulders as Mary stands in the kitchen making the family breakfast when he's older.

Then reality slaps her in the face.

Yes, he may have all of that for a time but one day a man will come for him and Mary worries that even with all her daddy taught her about hunting she won't be able to save him.

She makes an appointment, just once, for an abortion. Better the child is dead than to let that monster have him. Mary has her purse in hand and is about to call out to John that she is going out for the afternoon when something stops her.

Dean is sitting in the middle of the living room, toys spread around him like a ring of gaurds as he colors in his muppet babies coloring book.

If she doesn't have this baby to give to the demon, what happens to her other baby? Would he take Dean instead or would he simply kill John and Dean, removing the lives that weren't supposed to be here in the first place?

Mary sits on the floor and cries for hours. Nothing John or Dean does can comfort her. An hour before her appointment she calls the clinic and cancels. The woman on the phone is very understanding, reassuring her that a lot of women find themselves changing their mind at the last minute, finding a new depth of love for the unborn child that they hadn't known existed. Mary thanks her and hangs up, feeling sick to her stomach.

It worries John that Mary no longer takes care of herself the last few months of her pregnancy but she refuses to talk about what's bothering her. She just presses Dean close and whispers over nad over that everything will be all right.

It is, perhaps, the only time in his existance that someone will sacrafice everything that is Samuel Winchester to protect his brother Dean. Perhaps it is, subconciously, the reason Dean is willing to sacrafice everything for his brother.

Oh god, it hurts so much and this line "Would he take Dean instead or would he simply kill John and Dean, removing the lives that weren't supposed to be here in the first place?" ... killed me.
