Friday: Texts from Last Night
For my last day hosting this week, I'm bringing back a personal favorite, Texts from Last Night. Pick a text or a few from that site and pair it with a fandom (or make it author's choice) or make up a text for a fandom (or author's choice), and then make it a prompt! A friendly reminder: the site, as well as possibly some of these prompts, may not be SFW.
The rules:
No more than three prompts to a single fandom
No more than five prompts at a time
No spoilers in the prompts and if your fill has spoilers, please warn and and leave at least three spaces
Format:
Fandom, Character, Prompt
Fandom, Character/Character, Prompt
Examples:
Leverage, Eliot, i've been hiding in the laundry chute for like thirty minutes from her. not my manliest moment. but dude this is awesome
Sherlock, any, I just want to let it be known that I almost put my phone in the fridge.
Author's choice, "so explain again why im purple" "no"
Nothing inspiring you today? Why not go through the lonely prompts?
Have a good weekend, and sorry about the double post earlier (this post turned on the LJ spam filter for me for some reason)!

Avengers: Steve/ Tony
He realizes later that the staff was messing with his emotions. It didn't create his attraction to Tony, but it did elevate it from his subconscious to a place where he realized it existed. So in a way, it's all Loki's fault.
Although he doubts Loki meant for this to happen. He's now nervously fussing with his tie, trying to kill the fifteen minutes until it's time to meet Tony downstairs for their first date. And he never thought he would even think this, but he really ought to tell Loki thank you.
That staff almost destroyed them, but in the end it brought them closer than anything else could've. They got all of the bad blood, the terrible impressions, out of the way immediately. And in a way that allowed them to let go of the things that had been said, afterwards. Because it wasn't their fault, it was Loki's. Neither of them could believe they'd said what they did, which meant they could believe that the other hadn't meant to say those things, either.
Steve suspects he would have spent a lot of time skirting around Tony, otherwise. He'd have brought up Howard at the wrong moment, and Tony would have simmered at him for years. He'd have simmered right back, not realizing that it was his libido causing his frustration.
Retrospectively, Steve has been bisexual his whole life. Now, he sees what he felt for Bucky, under the layers of friendship. But he's always repressed that part of himself, because when he was growing up, it wasn't something nice boys even thought about, much less did. He was a good boy- he'd been so sure he'd have a wife and kids, probably support them working as an illustrator when he got out of the service.
He never would have guessed he'd be living in 2012, working as part of a super hero team in a future where the house ran itself, via a person who is actually a computer. He never would have expected to be around for things like cell phones, much less the arc reactor. But he's been given a precious gift, and he's not going to waste it.
Grinning at himself in the mirror, Steve straightens his shoulders and heads downstairs to meet Tony. He got a second chance, he's damn well going to enjoy it.
