"The Young Avengers have been dealt with. They're not going to listen but hopefully the whole thing with Iron Lad will stick in their memory and they'll come to us for help if they need it." Steve sat down on the workbench beside Tony, leaning back against the table. "I was thinking we could train them, lightly of course, without any actual missions until they're older. I don't know what we're going to do if they don't stop though. They're good kids, but they're minors and don't know what they want with their lives yet."
Tony snorted. "The kids will do what they want, and we'll just clean up after them and hope they don't get themselves killed. Stop worrying. You need a vacation." He didn't look up from the circuit he was tinkering with.
Steve reached out and dragged his fingers through Tony's hair. "So do you. You're working yourself crazy with the new monitoring system. You need to take a break."
Tony leaned into the touch and sighed heavily, putting his tools down with a clank. "As if either of us could afford to."
"Well, money is not an issue, Mr. Stark."
"No, that wasn't what I was talking about and you know it."

Tony and Steve fell silent.
