Thursday: On Vacation

My last day... *pout* I shall have to come up with some crazy themes and do this again!

Today's theme is On Vacation.

After yesterday's insanity, our characters really need a break. What do they do to get away from their normal lives?

Please think about our wonderful codemonkeys and use the correct format (the second is for crossovers).

Fandom, Pairing, Prompt
Fandom1/Fandom2, Pairing, Prompt

Firefly, River, Building sand-castles on the beach
Torchwood/Heroes, Jack/Ianto/Gabriel, A broken stopwatch spoils half their vacation plans

Please remember not to post more than 5 prompts in a row and more than 3 prompts per fandom. If one or more of your prompts are answered, you can prompt again later in the day.

If you don't see anything you like, you can always Adopt a Lonely Prompt.

Numb3rs, Don/Charlie, Cabin - NC-17 part one

Hope you like this. I actually tried to spend a bit of time on this, although I must admit I was somewhat influenced by Emma's fic flurries which is one of my faves. I already did a cabin fic on my LJ but wanted to do something snow filled!! Anyway, enough rambling, hope you like.

“Have I said thank you for this?” Charlie asked as he gazed out of the window at the snow covered landscape.

"Oh, only one or two ...dozen...times," came the warm amused voice of the dark haired man from behind him.

Don smiled affectionately as Charlie turned towards him, smiling brighter than the sun on the snow outside their cabin. He wrapped his arms around Charlie’s waist and drew him closer, bringing his brother in tight against his body.

"Well thank you again," Charlie smiled, nuzzling into the juncture of Don’s neck and shoulder, inhaling the clean, masculine scent that was purely Don.

"Love you, Charlie," Don growled softly.

“I should hope so too,” Charlie replied, before laughing and arching away as Don’s fingers jabbed him in his ribs. “Okay, okay, I love you too.”

“That’s better,” Don said, then pulled Charlie in tighter for a soft kiss.

This weekend was going to be great. Don had been offered loan of the cabin from an old college friend and had jumped at the chance for some alone time with Charlie. They would have two full days at the cabin, long enough to recharge their batteries.

The cabin had a small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a cozy living room all on one floor. In the living room, a comfy sofa sat in front of a beautiful, large real fire. Don's smile widened at the thought of the space between the sofa and fire. He had quite definite plans for that space after dinner.

"Let's go outside," Charlie begged, turning his big brown eyes on the older man. “I want to play in the snow.”

"My brother...the big kid," Don laughed, but he knew he was powerless to resist those big eyes.

"Come on," Charlie added, his eyes darkening even further. "I promise, I'll make it worth your while later," he said huskily.

"Well, in that case," Don laughed swatting Charlie’s ass.
