Monday / Little Black Dress

Greetings, Earthlings! Today is Monday. I’m [livejournal.com profile] sharpiesgal and I’ll be your lovely host for this week.

My first theme will be Little Black Dress (everybody has that one particular article of clothing that is their go to piece for any ensemble). Prompts should have some relation to clothing or accessories.

The rules are as follows:

1. No more than five prompts in a row.
2. No more than three prompts in a fandom.
3. Use the character's full name and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
4. If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
5. No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
6. If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Prompts should be formatted as follows:
Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the juices flowing:
MCU, Clint/Bruce, well worn purple shirt
Burn Notice, Michael/Fiona, every well dressed spy had a back up pair of sunglasses
Captain America, Steve Rogers, his shield was a prop before it became a weapon

We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

IIIII don't know about this, but okay

“Not a fuckin’ word,” Jay’s voice is low and a little raspy, probably from smoking a cigarette or two before sneaking in through the back, and gives Tim a threatening glare when she spins around.

“Oh my god,” Tim says, jaw dropping unattractively as she takes her in, words dumbly falling out of her mouth. “You look like a girl.

Jay smirks and snatches a cream puff off the dessert table, popping it between her shiny, cherry red lips. “Glad you finally noticed,” she says, scratching the area right beneath her breasts, then (and Tim hopes to god there’s no cameras on them right now) adjusts the strapless bra she has on underneath the dress. “God this shit is itchy as fuck. Yours doesn’t look itchy. Alfred must be pissed at me for blowing the microwave up last week and this is my punishment.”

She looks so miserable Tim almost feels bad for her. Except Tim can’t really do much of anything except stare. At the way the slinky black dress hugs Jay’s body, emphasizing curves she didn’t even know Jay had, at the deep v that shows parts of Jay she’s only ever glimpsed when they were changing after patrol, at the long, long legs accentuated by the three inch heels she’s miraculously still standing on.

“You know, you’re kind of staring,” Jay grins, subtly slipping two glass of wine from a distracted waiters serving tray.

“I…”.

“C’mon,” Jay says, grabbing Tim’s elbow and dragging her through the crowd. “Let’s go get buzzed.”

Tim sways lazily in the stairwell Jay decided they should hide out in until the party was over, thigh pressed up against Jay’s, shoulder to shoulder. She smells so good, fruity and sweet and a little like vanilla, and Tim wonders idly if she’d taste the same.

“Wine,” she murmurs, leaning back onto her elbows. “Wine is nice.”

Jay laughs and twists around to look down at her, puts her hand on Tim’s hip and Tim goes completely still, like a deer caught in the headlights. “You’ve been looking at me all night,” Jay whispers, stroking Tim’s hip through the gauzy fabric of her dress.

“You’ve been nice to look at,” Tim says, smiling drunkenly. “I didn’t. Didn’t know you could look so…”

“Smokin?” Jay tries to help. Tim shakes her head.

“Pretty. Girly. I already knew you were hot, but --”

“Hot, huh?” Jay smirks. “Never told me that.”

Tim blushes, like her words and the situation and the dizzying buzz has all caught up with her at once. “You know you are.”

“Yeah,” Jay grins, leaning down in her space. “But I want to hear you say it.”

Tim bites her lip, squirms a little when Jay’s hand on her hip tightens a bit. “You’re really,” she swallows. “really hot. I -- I really want to--”

Fortunately Tim doesn’t have to finish her sentence because then Jay’s kissing her, opening Tim’s mouth up with her tongue, hot and persistent and Tim reaches up, cups her hand around the back of Jay’s neck and pulls her deeper, moaning into her mouth a little, too amazed that this is finally happening to be embarrassed about it.

What feels like forever and yet not long enough, not nearly long enough, Jay breaks away and drags her thumb through Tim’s smeared lipstick. “See? If you’d told me that earlier we could have been doing this the whole time.”

“I”m sorry?” Tim’s grinning deliriously, daring to snake her arm around Jay’s waist and pull her against her, belly doing a little flip when Jay’s eyes light up at the touch.

“S’cool,” Jay says, leaning down to press her lips to Tim’s neck, throat, collarbone. Then she pulls back. “You really think I’m...that I look pretty?”

“Jay,” Tim says, winding a finger around one of Jay’s curls. “You’re so beautiful it drives me crazy. In your costume, in your stupid leather jacket and combat boots, in this amazing dress and heels. It doesn’t matter what you wear. You could prance around in a burlap sack and I’d still want to jump you.”

The blush in Jay’s cheeks is the prettiest thing Tim’s ever seen. “Yeah, you totally suck for not saying that earlier.”

Tim just smiles, threads her fingers into Jay’s hair and pulls her down. “Let me make up for it.”
