Wednesday: Con Day
Happy Hump Day everyone! Here I am again, on behalf of
monica_catch22.
Today's theme is Cons. Anything to do with conmen, thieves, going undercover or even pranks and magicians will work for today. Anything in which someone thinks that one thing is going on, when it's really something else. It's all about the confidence scams, big or small!
The usual rules apply of course.
No spoilers in your prompts for at least one week after publication/air date.
If there are spoilers in your story, you must warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.
No more than 5 prompts in a row, and no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If one of your prompts has been answered, you can prompt again.
For the love of our code monkeys, please remember to format your prompts. For example:
Leverage, Sophie, the fine art of getting what you want
Dresden Files/Highlander, Harry & Amanda, I'm named after Houdini after all
Not liking the theme or no prompts are catching your eye? Head on over to peek at our Lonely Prompts. There's plenty in need of homes and pretty words.
Alright guys, let's see what you've got!

Comment Fic: Never Again; Tim/Zat; PG
Pairing: Tim/Zat
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Never Again
Tim glanced around the densely wooded area in which he had suddenly appeared. Zatara was nowhere in sight and neither, for that matter, was a villain for him to battle. Tim narrowed his eyes and examined the woodlands more closely.
Birds were singing and insects buzzed all around him. Sunlight was streaming through the trees and while he couldn’t identify any of them, they didn’t look particularly threatening.
Tim briefly considered calling out for Zatara but decided to look around the near vicinity for danger before he drew any attention to himself.
“Robin!” Zatara’s voice called to him out of nowhere.
Tim nearly jumped out of his skin. He spun around and faced the direction where Zatara’s voice had come from. There was nothing there except a tree.
“Zat,” Tim hissed into emptiness of the forest.
“Here,” Zatara replied and Tim suddenly made out, within the bark of the tree, an eerie looking face. A face that was disturbingly familiar.
“Holy shit you’re a tree,” Tim said with deliberate calm. “That’s the freakiest thing I have ever seen.”
Tree-Zatara rolled his eyes at Tim and muttered something backwards before he morphed back into his normal human self. Tim and Zatara just started at each other for a few long moments.
“Never do that again,” Tim demanded evenly.
Zatara nodded in understanding. “Fair enough. We speak of this to no one.”
“Deal,” Tim agreed.
Re: Comment Fic: Never Again; Tim/Zat; PG
I love this. Thanks!
I also enjoy that you still have to format things properly and give them a title, relax Boo, it's just comment fic!
Re: Comment Fic: Never Again; Tim/Zat; PG
I like for things to be NEAT and orderly. This way, people who get the fic know what it IS.
Re: Comment Fic: Never Again; Tim/Zat; PG
See, I'm just lazy. I like comment_fic because I don't have to deal with formatting. I can just write fic and press 'post comment"
