Mardi ✎ Drabbles

Hi, I'm your host, [livejournal.com profile] creepy_shetan. :D I hope your Monday set a good tone for the week! (If not, may today be better. ♥)

Today's theme: drabbles. Prompt as you wish, but please post fills with even word counts in multiples of 100 words. (If you -- or Word or Open Office or etc -- miscount your words, though, no one will probably notice. >:P Don't stress about it.)

A few rules to follow:
✦ No more than five prompts in a row per day
✦ No more than three prompts per fandom per day
✦ If one or more of your prompts is filled today, then you may prompt again
✦ Use the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s) in your prompts
✦ For prompts, no spoilers until one month after the release date (use a spoiler tag to hide part or all of the text)
✦ For fills, warn for spoilers, and either leave blank space before the text or hide the text under a spoiler tag
✦ Include a warning in the subject line for any possible triggers

Please remember to use the proper format for prompts.
➔ ➔ ➔ Fandom [/ Crossover], Character [+ or / Relationship], Prompt
Again, please include the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s). This is to make it easy to add prompts to the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and to find prompts through manual search.

Examples:
For a single fandom:
✧ Giant Killing, Gino (Luigi Yoshida) + any ETU players or staff, an excerpt from the unofficial "How to Deal with Prince" manual
✧ Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Dirk Gently + Farah Black, don't let a silly thing like physics stop you

For multiple fandoms / crossovers:
✧ Yuri on Ice/any, Victor Nikiforov + any, they would never admit it aloud, but having the chance to talk to Victor that one time was a highlight of their life

We use AO3 to keep track of filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and (cross-)post it to AO3, please add your story to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2017 collection. For more information, please go here.

A backup version of this community is available on Dreamwidth.

If the plot bunnies aren’t biting you today, feel free to check out our Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets (here and here) or the community's archive calendar. You can browse the main themed posts for prompts to fill (and fills to read) or check the Sunday posts for requested prompts (and fills written that week).
There's also LJ’s advanced search options, however, it currently seems to only search entries posted in this community, not comments. (We exist on delicious as well, but it's outdated.)
While the above are available options, the simplest method might be to bookmark prompts that you like as you find them and return later when inspiration strikes.

All right, let's see what you've got! ♥

FILL: M/M, unrequited love

[identity profile] cozy-coffee.livejournal.com 2017-09-11 01:36 pm (UTC)(link)
He swallows against the dryness in his throat, dragging his fingers through his. He lingers close by, listens to the spray of steamy water caressing his friends, wishing his hands could be so lucky as to feel the touch of smooth soft skin. Yet he is not so blessed. They are friends, only friends, yet he ached to reach out and touch his friends beautiful body. To kiss his rose color lips. To hear him whispers his name when they are in the grips pleasure and passion. His friend was everything he desired in a soul mate; loyal and trustworthy with a heart full of kindness and love. Being so close to his friend made him want things – things he knows he can never have. His friend loves him, sure, they have been close since childhood, but their love is only brotherly. True love is not within his grasp…even as he desires so much more from the man who owns his heart and soul.
