Lucifer is putting fingers on his lips, shushing him. "You shouldn't speak to your elder brother like that, Castiel."

But Castiel, even unable to move and human as he is, glares back.

"I don't want your help." He spits.

"Temper, temper," Lucifer chides, wrapping Castiel in cold as he dampens pain and heals the numerous cuts and bruises and breaks in Castiel's freshly human form.

"You've given too much for them," Lucifer says once done. "And next time I may not be feeling generous enough to help."

"I never wanted it," Castiel says, even as he staggers to his feet. "Leave me."

Lucifer looks at him for a long moment, then vanishes.

It doesn't make Castiel feel any better.
