Monday: 100 Words on... Throwing Parties
Jul. 22nd, 2019 12:01 amHello friends! I’m
sherlockian_syn and we'll be talking about summer all week long! Today's theme is throwing parties. Whether it's a barbecue, a pool party, or a family reunion, feel free to talk about planning, hosting, attending, or crashing parties. Fills should be at least 100 words or any multiple of 100. Have fun and stay cool!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers ensemble, the annual Avengers summer bash
+ Stargate Atlantis, Evan Lorne +/ any, Evan's party planning skills
+ Hawaii Five-0, Steve McGarrett/Danny Williams, decorating Steve's backyard for a party
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2019 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2019-07-22 03:29 pm (UTC)Dean cast Sam a look. Sam scrambled under the bed.
After Dad screamed at Dean for ten minutes straight, then passed out, Sammy dared to ask why Dad was so mad about some pie he didn’t even know was stolen.
“He’s not mad about the pie,” Dean said, eyes red, though he hadn’t cried even a bit. “Today is Mom’s birthday. We always had cherry pie on her birthday.”

Date: 2019-07-22 03:39 pm (UTC)Fill: Werewolf!Lucas
Date: 2019-07-22 03:47 pm (UTC)“It seems hard to believe the reserved, sit in a corner, Lucas North could change so dramatically,” Adam replied.
“That is why we always schedule our parties for full moon, Lucas enjoys them so much more in werewolf form.”
Tariq had got a disco ball going and the werewolf was jumping from colour to colour in time to the music. Every so often he’d pause, and someone would toss him another cocktail sausage or mini doughnut, which he’d grab before returning to his dance.
“It wouldn’t be the same without him,” Ros said.
