creepy_shetan (aka Shetan), and I'll be your host this week. =^.^= Since Mondays are so often feared or despised, let's give this one a chance, shall we? Look at it as a fresh start! And with that in mind...
✎ Today's theme: endings and beginnings. All prompts should involve the end of something, the start of something, or both.
A few rules to keep in mind:
Please remember to use the proper format for prompts.
➔ ➔ ➔ Fandom [/ Crossover], Character [+ or / Relationship], Prompt
Again, please include the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s). This makes it easier to add prompts to the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and to find prompts through manual search.
(Author's choice prompts and original fills are also more than welcome!)
Examples:
We use AO3 to keep track of filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and (cross-)post it to AO3, please add your story to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2019 collection. For more information, please go here.
A backup version of this community is available on Dreamwidth.
If the plot bunnies aren’t biting you today, feel free to check out our Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets (here and here) or the community's archive calendar. You can browse the main themed posts and Saturday free-for-all posts for prompts to fill (and fills to read). Or you can check the Sunday posts for requested prompts (and fills written that week). There's also LJ’s advanced search options -- however, it currently seems to only search entries posted in this community, not comments.
While the above are available options, the simplest method might be to bookmark prompts that you like as you find them and return later when inspiration strikes. (There are no rules against multiple fills for the same prompt, by the way. ~_^)

✦ No more than three prompts in the same fandom per day
✦ If one or more of your prompts is filled today, then you may prompt again
✦ Use the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s) in your prompts
✦ For prompts, no spoilers until one month after the release date (use a spoiler tag to hide part or all of the text)
✦ For fills, warn for spoilers, and either leave blank space before the text or hide the text under a spoiler tag
✦ Include a warning in the subject line for any possible triggers

Date: 2019-08-05 08:49 am (UTC)Regeneration was a funny thing, one minute you're in a body that is entirely yours, a mind that you have come to understand and love as your own, before it is taken away from you as quickly as it was given to you.
It's a loss each time, like the many companions that have been lost along the way that started this journey many years ago, when a scared young man wanted to run away from so much. Scared of a time war which in no doubt, his people where headed in.
No one really understands what it means to regenerate, unless they are a time lord, the closest any human has come to it, in his long life, was captain Jack harness, a man that could barely be called human, considering he could never die, being brought back after every blow, after every death that filled his existence, the pain that came from dying was never anything like the pain of coming back gasping for air each time. Jack had informed him.
The doctor understands far too well, where Jack may feel the gasping pain of being returned back to his healed and very much alive state, the doctor could not, instead his pain was filled with the notion that he would have to say goodbye to yet another old friend, perhaps the oldest friend of them all. A friend that would be his own companion wherever he would look into a mirror or catch a glimpse of himself in some sort of reflection.
Still, it was as a time lord, that the doctor fully understood beginning and ending, everything had an end and everything had a beginning, even himself, even time lords had an expiration date, his, he had no idea of, but knew that just as much as the sun and moon rising, it was inevitable. A comfort that at least this wouldn’t change, no matter how much he might do over the years, wouldn’t.

Sam stairs at him, blinking in disbelief or confusion, Sam isn’t sure which one himself. Maybe both.
"That’s because you married me, you jerk!"
Dean and Cas can be heard laughing in the background.
“Oh yeah, right!”
He says as if he’s only just now remembered he's married and Sam isn’t actually dead, or like hes lost contact with him over the years.
Gabriel grins at Sam, pulls the lolly pop out of his mouth with a pop.
“Kiss?”
He puckers out his lips, but Sam just sighs, furrows his brows in annoyance and walks away, leaving a bemused Cas and Dean.
“See, what I mean, guys, he used to be a good boyfriend, I don’t know where hes gone now......married life, it changes you, you’ll see.
Cas and Dean where due to get married next spring.

Date: 2019-08-13 06:26 pm (UTC)And it's better than when I found it - I stumbled onto it on Netflix right after season 3 ended but before Netflix decided to pick it up and give it a final few episodes to close out the show. Hahaha.
*runs off to add it back to her Netflix queue*
ETA: it's no longer on Netflix, but it is on Amazon Prime! Hah.

Date: 2020-05-02 03:25 pm (UTC)A cozy pair of sweats and his big fluffy cotton hoodie greet TK when he steps out of the bathroom. Carlos and Buttercup wait for him in bed, the blankets tucked aside and welcoming him. The pillows are big and fluffy and feather white, the bed is warm and safe and soothing, and never has the comforts of home hit TK so hard. All he wants to do is climb into bed and cuddle with the man who gave him a home and happiness.
The two of them tangled up in bed, Carlos snuggles him tenderly while Buttercup cuddles up beside him; TK sinks into the softness of being swaddled in a bed of fluffy softness. Carlos hugs him closer, and he rests his head on his chest, listening to the beautiful sound of his heart thumping.
With TK scratching that spot behind Buttercup's eat, the fluffy dog easily slips off to sleep. After a tiring day, sleep sounds like a great idea.
“Sleep, sweetheart," Carlos whispers softly, as if reading TK's mind. TK closes his eyes and snuggles as close to him as he can get, Carlos keeping him warm, loved, and it was like coming home and waking into a house filled with laughter and love and the delicious aroma of cookies cooling on the stove.
For TK, being in Carlos' tender embrace, felt like basking in a fairy tale with a happily ever after, once upon a time.
