Hey, how's it going? Today is Friday, and y'know what that means... It's time for me to say farewell for now as your host. Thank you to everyone who participated in this week's themes, including those who started planning or writing fills but haven't quite managed to finish them yet. I hope you share links to your stories on a Sunday post in the future. =^.^=

✎ Today's theme: questions and answers. Again, anything goes as far as fills are concerned, but prompts should be in the form of a question, a response, or a bit of both in dialogue (or monologue) form. I won't limit it to verbal/written communication, though, if you'd like to use body language or telepathic images or what have you. >:P

A few rules to keep in mind:

✦ No more than five prompts in a row per day
✦ No more than three prompts in the same fandom per day
✦ If one or more of your prompts is filled today, then you may prompt again
✦ Use the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s) in your prompts
✦ For prompts, no spoilers until one month after the release date (use a spoiler tag to hide part or all of the text)
✦ For fills, warn for spoilers, and either leave blank space before the text or hide the text under a spoiler tag
✦ Include a warning in the subject line for any possible triggers

Please remember to use the proper format for prompts.

Again, please include the full names of the fandom(s) and character(s). This makes it easier to add prompts to the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and to find prompts through manual search.

For a single fandom:

There's also LJ’s advanced search options -- however, it currently seems to only search entries posted in this community, not comments.

While the above are available options, the simplest method might be to bookmark prompts that you like as you find them and return later when inspiration strikes. (There are no rules against multiple fills for the same prompt, by the way. ~_^)

“Are you going to answer that?”

Being as his face was pressed against her shoulder blade, several tendrils of her hair doubtless covering him, Nick’s voice was slightly muffled. Ellie heard him loud and clear though, just like she heard the amusement in his voice. He sounded like he already knew the answer and she had no doubt he did.

That was why she smiled herself, pressed her face against her pillow. “I don’t want to move,” she told him and his arm tightened around her waist, pulling her back more firmly against his chest. Apparently, he didn’t want her to move either.

Of course, that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to give her shit about it as her cell phone - tossed somewhere on the kitchen counter, and it might as well be on Mars for all the interest she had in locating it - mercifully stopped ringing. “But it could be your brothers, psychically knowing you’re with a man.” She rolled her eyes, even though she knew he couldn’t see her do it, thanking her lucky stars that that was impossible. “It could be your mom, calling to see how you are.” A pause, then, “It could be Gibbs!”

She looked over her shoulder sharply at that, narrowed her eyes at him. “Ok, rule number one of this relationship?” She wasn’t kidding either. “Never mention Gibbs when we’re like this.”

Nick blinked once but he either knew better than to argue or he was in complete agreement. Or both. “Done.”

“Besides...” Ellie stretched a little, enjoying how her body fit against his, as well as figuring out something. “I don’t actually think I can trust my legs to work right now.”

He blinked again at that, then a beaming grin spread across his face. Well, she’d expected as much. “Really?” He put at least seventeen extra syllables into the word, sounding delighted.

“Yep.” Ellie felt her cheeks heat but she held his gaze. “Maybe you should try kissing me better.”

Nick’s chuckle was nothing short of filthy, raising goosebumps along her skin. “Done.”

I think I say this every time but I love these two together. And you write them so well.

There is something almost magical about warm cookies straight out of the oven. The rich aroma that tickles his nose and makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The way the dough mushes on his fingers, making the tips gooey where he has to lick them clean and ends up making a finger-paint mess on his hands.

Eddie had been working on the latest new report when suddenly a heavenly aroma tickled his nose from afar. From inside him, behind his ribs next to his heart where Venom likes to sleep, his symbiote did a happy wiggle, immuring from his chest.

“Cookies!” Venom squeals, more less forcefully pulling Eddie towards the kitchen. Their mouth is all watered up like heavy downpour of rain as the scrumptious scent draws them to Annie who is setting the hot cookies gently on the cooling rack.

Venom reaches for a yummy treat, only to sulk away and hide behind Eddie when Annie lightly slaps his tentacles and glares at him.

“Not yet,” She declares, her eyes widening in surprise when Venom’s tummy grumbles ready and eager to be filled. “They have to cool first.”

“Eddie, she won’t give us a cookie,” Venom pouts like a toddler. “Make her give us a cookie.”

Eddie gives Annie his best puppy dog eyes, adding his own little cute pout to match Venom’s.

Annie folds like a cheap suit. “Okay, but only one. You’ll spoil your appetite for dinner.”

She sounds like a mama, and she might as well be one because she cannot hide her bright smile when she hands over two cookies and Eddie and Venom devours them with gusto, sounding so much like cartoon characters making Nom-nom-nom grumbles.

She shoos them away so she can finish baking the next batch, but little did Annie know that as Venom and Eddie walked away operation ‘steal more cookies when Annie wasn’t looking’ was about to commence.

So cute! Now I want cookies...luckily, I don't have any in the house. Although I *do* have a mix...lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself. Thanks for the sweet fill.
