Hi! I’m
brumeier, and this week we’ve been filling themes based on the 90s. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed prompts and fills this week! You’re the best! Our final theme is 90s FREE FOR ALL, which means you can tackle anything 90s from fashion to pop culture to more prompts for any of the other themes we had this week. If it existed in the 90s, it’s fair game!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Stargate Atlantis, Rodney McKay +/ Any, tamagotchis are all the rage at Area 51
+ Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tony Stark, Stark Industries is involved with the construction of the International Space Station
+ Hawaii Five-0, Steve McGarrett, training for the X Games (extreme sporting competition)
+ Any, any, prepping for Y2K
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2016 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2020-02-14 03:57 pm (UTC)Lucifer was sitting on his piano bench, watching the young men onstage rehearsing the stage.
“What even is that?” Chloe asked.
“Big Bad Voodoo Daddies,” Lucifer said. “Well, not the actual band, but a good cover band. Not that I couldn’t get the real band.”
Chloe arched an eyebrow. “So you’re saying voodoo is real?”
Lucifer arched an eyebrow right back at her. “I’m saying I like their music.”
The man onstage began to sing.
Here comes the snake and he circles your leg
He’s come to play and make your body parts shake
Chloe rolled her eyes.
Lucifer rose, offered her a hand.
“You dance?” She eyed his hand like it was, well, a snake.
“I’m the origin of all fun things,” he said.
She accepted his hand, and he pulled her into a neat swing frame, and then they were moving deftly to the music.
He leaned in, sang in her ear as the brass crescendoed.
Yes, I believe but I'd rather not pray
What I believe in I'd rather not say, baby
Did your God show you the door?
Well, I'm here to eat your apple to the core
Chloe shoved him away.
Lucifer winked at her and made a flourish like a magician, and he was holding an apple. He tossed it to her.
She caught it.
“Now,” he said, settling back on the piano bench, “what can I do for you?”
Chloe eyed him, and then she took a big bite out of the apple. “What can you tell me about a certain dead serial killer, say, Jack the Ripper? He came through your realm, right?”
Lucifer leaned his chin on his hand. “Oooh, you’re here for tea. Where shall I start?”

Date: 2020-02-14 04:03 pm (UTC)This line “I’m the origin of all fun things,” he said.? That is quintessential Lucifer
