squidgiepdx and today's theme is First Times. Now here's the thing - the prompt "first time" can literally be anything. Like the first time John Sheppard went on an away mission without Rodney McKay, and missed his snoring. Or the first time someone - not Steve McGarrett - said, "Boom 'em, Danno," and Danny Williams realized that no - that's something Steve can say but nobody else. Or you can go with what I associate first times with, and that's intimacy. Like the first time William Poindexter kisses a man, or the first time Ransom and Holster hook up. If you can describe it as a first time, then be the first to prompt it here today!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Date: 2021-08-14 02:12 am (UTC)It wasn’t until later, after Shannon left (the first time), after they moved to LA, after he met Buck, that he realized what it was. Maybe it wasn’t Shannon, it was him. And there was nothing wrong with him or her.
He’d always considered Shannon pretty. She didn’t have classical features, but there was something that made the boys flock to her, that made him hold his head higher and strut a little more when she was on his arm. But it didn’t make him want to have sex with her (although he did because wasn’t that what you were supposed to do?)
Buck on the other hand… Buck could have been carved from marble. Could have been the model for any number of Italian statues. Those first couple of shifts; when Buck snarled and snapped at him over every little thing? He still wanted to bask in the other man’s presence. When he and Buck finally bonded, when the golden retrieverness of his nature showed through, Eddie just wanted to watch him all the time.
Buck’s attractiveness wasn’t just in his muscles, but in the kindness of his character. And maybe that was something Eddie needed.
