It takes about ten seconds for Jensen and Hardison to detect each other as fellow geeks; half a minute after that they've discovered they know each other's online personas (some of them) and they're talking in prhases that none of them rest can even pretend to understand.
Parker keeps stealing Cougar's hat; he keeps retreiving it and no amount of glaring her down seems to dissuade her. In fact -- as it comes to no surprise to the Leverage team -- the glares just make her giggle, and she swipes his hat again.
Nate and Clay are circling each other warily, keeping eyes on their team and eyes on each other. Measures of men are taken, judged, and finally -- grudgingly -- they decide on respect and distance, and settle in to discuss the political weather.
Aisha and Sophie are circling as well, but no one can decide if it will be knives and pointed wit, or if they will take themselves off to a more private place and go for something much more dangerous. Hardison is keeping half an eye on them and hoping he gets to see it if they kiss. He'll freely admit to wanting to see the rest, but he's pretty sure saying so, even to himself, will get him a world a hurt.
He notices Jensen is watching the girls, too.
Over by the van, Pooch and Eliot are leaning back. Pooch has his wallet out and Eliot is shifting, one at a time, through the photos.
"Those are last week," Pooch says, as Eliot works his way down the short stack.
"He looks like Jolene," Eliot says, and Pooch grins.
"She still owes you a cupcake, you know," Pooch tells him, and there's a look on Eliot's face that Pooch hopes means that someday he'll actually collect.
