Brighton is deserted when they pull into town. Jim and Hannah catch fish and bring it back to a deserted stand; Selena chops up some potatoes and fries them in the oil left behind at a deserted chip shop.
It’s oddly homey to sit together, happily discussing what the day has brought, together in the aloneness of an apocalypse.
