Being an actor, one was used to getting up early. Being an actor in a television series, one was used to this more so. Jim grunted at his alarm when it went off at five-thirty. He rolled out of bed and shuffled to the bathroom. After brushing his teeth, Jim heard his trailer door open. He rubbed his eyes and peeked out of the bathroom to see Mark lounging in his kitchen, fully dressed as if it wasn’t an unholy hour in the morning.
Jim closed his eyes, and when he opened them, the Englishman was still there. Mark was sipping tea, and he smirked at Jim.
“Good morning, darling.”
Snorting, Jim tugged on jeans and a t-shirt, stepping out of the bathroom.
“Isn’t it a bit early for you to get in character?”
Mark just chuckled into his tea before he yawned. Jim did a double-take… because in all honesty, the action made the Englishman look… adorable. Just for a moment, but still. Jim sat next to Mark as the Englishman rubbed his eyes.
“You have to greet the morning a bit more jovially.”
Jim laughed and shook his head.
“Yeah? And how does one do that at the crack of dawn---?”
Soft and familiar lips brushed over his own. Jim stiffened, and Mark pulled back and winked at him, laughing as the morning light began to shine through the windows. Jim blinked, but as they both left the trailer, ready for another day of Bobby vs. Crowley, they were both grinning.
Small, shy fill
