been in the office for 30 minutes now.

when I made the appt for the gas company to send someone to light the church pilots for the heater, the only available date/time they had was for today between 7a-8p

I didn't fully prepare for possibly not being able to leave to get something for lunch, and since I took the bus, not many places along my route are open at 6 am and serve breakfast.

so here I wait.

as soon as its done, I'm going to taco bell for lunch or something.

Good morning! This is ravenspear, signing on for another beautiful November morning.

Today, our theme will be Dictionary Definitions. I.e., our prompts will be the dictionary definitions of words, without actually mentioning the words in question.

And, of course, we always have to follow the rules:

well nearly 8 hours. but it feels like I've been here longer.

gah

still no gas company.

another 5 hrs to go according to their time frame of between 7a-8p

as soon as they come and do their thing and I'm, I'M LEAVING!

All I've had today is water and tea. I NEED FOOD!

Maybe I can hustle to the corner store and be back before the gas company...

that's how long I had to wait for someone from the gas company to get to the church to light to heater pilots.

I wish they would have given me options...like 7-noon or 3-8 to choose from. I would have GLADLY chosen 3-8 so that I could sleep and get food*





*I did get food from the corner store. chips, soda and candy. enough to hold me until dinner...or another round of snacking later tonight.
