Monday: Apocalypse

Good morning, everyone! Today’s Monday, and it’s meteorfire here with the theme of the day.

Our theme today is Apocalypse. Are zombies walking the earth? Are aliens invading? Has the entire planet flooded? Anything in relation to an apocalypse goes, whether it’s living through one, dying in one, or simply attempting to prevent one.

Here's some quick examples:

• The Walking Dead, Merle, He survived the zombie apocalypse only to die during the alien invasion.
• The Walking Dead, any/other, The news stations and government refused to announce that the dead were walking. Then they started to announce the coming apocalypse. The ensuing panic was their downfall.
• The Walking Dead, any/other, POV of other people in the world when the walkers appeared
• Merlin BBC, Uther, He couldn’t live on a planet without his wife. So instead of banning sorcerers, he decided to just take everyone with him.
• Sherlock BBC, Mycroft, this is one devastation that he can’t prevent

the H50 dream I had. Well this is me writing it down so I won’t forget it (and it’s odd that so many days later I still remember it with such clarity).

this particular scene involves Danny, Steve (he doesn’t actually appear, but he’s mentioned), Mary Ann, a bunch of firefighters and some other guy.

first: I don’t know why there were a lot of firefighters (I couldn’t even tell if they were cute or not lol) but Danny was talking with them.

second: I’m pretty sure that Danny & Steve weren’t apart of 5-0 bc of things said in the dream (which I’m getting to)

third: Danny & Steve are so married in this dream

so…the dream: Danny was talking with some firefighters and Mary Ann and this other guy were having an argument of sorts bc this guy was all upset that Steve might talk her into joining his “organization” (the word the guy used) and Mary was all upset bc a) this guy didn’t believe that Steve wouldn’t do that; b) that Mary had basically been born into the “organization; and then she finally spelled it out for this guy and was like “you see that blonde dude talking with the firefighter? That’s Steve’s partner. His man. His boo. No one will ever take that man’s spot in Steve’s life”

now that I’ve typed it out, it seems kind of lame lol

but the dream I had last night was about Steve being a shapeshifter bc I'd (re)read some fics shanachie_quill/shanachie_quill wrote in this wonderful shifter verse she has going on

oh gawd! I just read a fic that I THOUGHT was Danny/Steve but was Steve/SANG MIN!

Danny is like confused? Upset? something? because Steve didn't tell him? so like Danny leaves and Steve and SANG fucking MIN get back down to business?

I DON'T EVEN FUCKING KNOW!

oh and they were in Canada so there was snow.

yeah, so I need to find a job

In April, rent's going up by $200. This means I need to find a job and/or someplace else to live.

I'm leaning towards finding a new job (that's a no brainer) AND someplace else to live. I'm 30 and tired of being the maid here. Not to mention I'm butting heads with my parents far too much.

It's not healthy for my blood pressure.
