having a rather interesting discussion/story building time here. The blending of Magnum, PI and Hawaii Five-0.

I have this whole world built up. Thomas & John were friends from Vietnam and crossed paths later when Magnum became a PI and John was a cop. Also, Steve probably snuck around Robin's Nest and got cornered by Zeus and Apollo.

Having a lot of fun playing 'what if' while I work up the nerve to actually WRITE THIS. wanna join? here or there.

Crossover Tuesday

Hello, y’all!  I’m still tigriswolf and today is Tuesday, the day of an old standby favorite: crossovers!

Any which way you want to cross something over, feel free!  There are those pesky rules to remember, however:

No more than three prompts to a single fandom

No more than five prompts at a time

Use the following format:

A-Team movieverse/NCIS, Tony/Face (Gibbs/Tony & Hannibal/Face), author's choice

SG-1/Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Giles&Daniel, Giles had an older brother who was disinherited when he refused to join the Watchers' Council; that older brother had a son

And don’t forget those lonely prompts, in case nothing from today is appealing.

what a way to write

I don’t know how this became part of my writing “process” but it is. When I know I’m going to write a new story that’s going to be a part of a series, I think of a cover art for the series. So I start looking for pictures to use, a title for the series and then I make the cover art.

All night I’ve been thinking about the Magnum, PI and Hawaii Five-0 crossover (and I think I might have had a dream about it as well?), so after I had breakfast, I started looking for Tom Selleck images to use – mostly of and older Tom that I could use as present day Magnum. Then I’m going to go through the screencaps from last week’s episode for pictures of John and Steve.

I have the pictures sorted, but I’m stuck with coming up for a name for the series. I have it tentatively titled as “The Hawaii Chronicles” with the first story titled “The Coolest Man I Know”. I’m not too fond of the title for the series, but I can’t think of anything else…might hold off on making the series cover art until I can come up with a better title.

I swear my h50_exchange fic has a life of it's own.

I keep working on it to wrap it up so that I can find and send it to a beta, but it keeps growing and growing.

It's not too large, just getting close to 2,000 words, and might be 2,500 words by the time I actually finish it

Which I'm hoping is soon as this is due Feb 23rd.
