your roots are showing
Mar. 21st, 2012 10:37 pmso there's this joke with my close friends that I'm a white girl in a black girl's body. I prefer country music to most other types, I don't sound like "most" black people (I rarely use slang and when I do, it's not ebonics) and I LOVE Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and Ron White (basically the Blue Collar Comedy Tour comedians)
Also, September of last year or the year before that, I found out my grandmother's mother was white (she got pregnant by a slave her father owned and another family adopted her), so I texted Staci and my bff
mommy_egats and told them and Staci was like "that explains a lot". Not an insult. just something I accept and joke about myself.
anyways, I'm listening to Boot Scootin' Boogie and suddenly want to see Danny and/or Steve in a country/western bar line dancing to this.

WEDNESDAY - RE-RUN DAY
Mar. 21st, 2012 07:36 amRe-run day is when you pull up those old bookmarks of prompts you want filled or trawl the lonely prompts for something interesting and "re-run" them so that others have a chance to answer them.
For example:
any, any, "You didn't enjoy being a god, but you loved being a devil?"
To format your prompts, use [a href="Link to prompt"]Link text[/a], with triangular brackets instead of square or you can just paste it in[http://comment-fic.livejournal.com/324232.html?thread=57932168#t57932168; any, any, "You didn't enjoy being a god, but you loved being a devil?"
Those of you filling prompts, please click on the link and respond at the original post, rather than here on this one.
