by the time my birthday comes in September, I will be living in a new apartment (and still with my parents, but such is the way of life).

with this realization comes the fact that OMG, I have to make a list of everyone/every place I need to change my address.

but the ones off the top of my head are:
my driver's license (thanks for that reminder, t_veranot_verano!)
bank
student loans
state (due to notary commission)
t-mobile
tv guide

I guess for the rest, I'll do a change of address/forward mail to this address thing with the post office. I don't know how long that lasts though.

also, numerous online sites need to be updated, and my resume (and 10 year history) and I should also probably tell the temp agency I'm at (even though no one has gotten back to me about ANYTHING)

I kind of want to pack up my room and live out of boxes for the rest of summer.

I kind of want to toss a lot of the knick knacks on one of my bookshelves.

I have far too much shower gel, bath wash and body spray. I think people have been trying to tell me I smell.

So much stuff can go into storage and stay there until I'm really ready to go through it.

Do I really need 12 cookbooks (slight exaggeration) and 30 cooking magazines (no exaggeration there, I haven't gone through them to take the free recipes out)

Hey everybody. Today no new prompts will be accepted. Instead, why not take a look at the archive? There could be a previously-forgotten prompt that tickles your muse and is just what you were looking for.

Have fun!

I've never been one for comparing my fics with other fics, but for some reason, I'm thinking mine is going to totally suck.

Reading part 2 of [livejournal.com profile] kristen999's [livejournal.com profile] casestory fic High Stakes, Desperate Measures and wishing mine read just as good as hers.

And on top of that, I've got a month until I'm to post. I really shouldn't have procrastinated, but I'll make the 10,000 and probably then some. I also need to finish it soon because I need to find a beta and email [livejournal.com profile] bluedelft the pics for the graphics.

I probably just created more work for myself, but I printed out the first 2 parts (15 pages) of my [livejournal.com profile] casestory fic and I'm editing them with red pen. but that wasn't the reason I printed them out. I wanted them so that I could easily refer to them while working on parts 3, 4 and 5 and I didn't have to continually open the documents for those parts. once i finish part 3, I'll print that out to help with part 4 and 5...later, rinse, repeat until the story is complete.

Then I'll go through and transfer the corrections from the hard copy to the digital copy and email to my beta ([livejournal.com profile] huntress69, will you be able to look over 10-12k words? I don't know when I'll be finish with it, but I hope I'll be done in the next 14-15 days)

working with the hard copy of this fic reminds me of editing essays for school...or how I used to hand write my fics back when I first started writing in 2002. and also reading this out loud has me feeling better about the story as a whole. not quite as much self doubt and comparing going on.
