good thing I didn't go spend crazy last week

Lora isn't here and she does weekly payroll. Usually if she's not coming in, her father will drop off the payroll, but we haven't heard from either.

I did like NO spending last week, so I still have my full check (well minus the money automatically taken out for savings), so my weekly savings for this week is covered as well as bus money for the week.

ps. so hungry! I should have grabbed breakfast while waiting to leave, but I didn't.

got the ball rolling

I have tentative boarding arrangements for the cat baby. I asked my friend Lora is she could watch my cat if I'm not able to find affordable boarding. She, and her mother, said they were going to offer, but the mother was worried about my cat getting out. My cat is mostly indoors and I try my hardest not to let her out. The pets they have are free to go in and out as they please. Lora's mom and dad are home bound while everyone is at work and they wouldn't be able to chase my cat back into the house if she got out. I said I'm not too worried about that (I sort of am because they live in a residential area and at night there's a coyote or bobcat that roams the area). Sometime this week, though, I'll be taking my cat over to their place so we can see how she does with the other 2 cat and the dog.

In the meantime, I was told about 2 other place I should check out, so I'm going to do that. Pie in the sky dream is to find someplace local that's $5/day because for 30 days that's $150 and totally manageable.

Got my assignment for h50_holidayswap.

I thought it'd be great to get ahead of the game since I'll be moving and stuff.

So I open up my shiny fic folder and look at the ideas document and none of the ideas are sparking in my head!

My next stop is to look at unclaimed prompts from finished challenges and from h50_bunny.
