So, I generally post the free for all around midnight. Last Saturday, I posted it, went to bed two hours later, and was then woken two hours after that because my roommate's room had caught fire.
If I hadn't already posted the free for all, it would not've happened last week.
Anyway. I'm in a weird place right now because I'm still mostly numb. My apartment is unlivable. My cat died in my room from smoke inhalation. I'm still coughing sometimes because I inhaled a lot of smoke, trying to find my cat and fight the fire. I have three classes of my own to attend and am teaching another twice a week.
So. I'm still processing, I guess. Not sure why I added this to the free for all.
