If this is your first time at comment_fic on Sunday, you can either post a previous prompt, or fill one. Or both!

How to do this:

Looking for prompts? You can find them in various ways! You can rummage around at the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet, or go into the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.

Whichever you decide to do, prompt or fill (or both!), please remember:

1. You can only request five prompts to be filled.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from a particular fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether this is a request or a fill!
5. You must link back to whatever the prompt is in the community logs (whether filling or requesting it be filled), and, if you're filling the prompt, please complete the fill as a response to the original prompt.
6. If you are filling an "any/any" prompt, please let us know what fandom (or, if original, say so!) you're using for the response.
8. If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
7. If you filled any lonely prompts earlier this week, this is the place to share them!

Just wondering

A portal to another world opens in front of you. You don’t know how long it will stay open or if you’ll be able to get back after you go through. What do you do?
I go through the freakin' portal! Earth has obviously run its course! Peace out, Earthlings!

You find a remote that can rewind, fast forward, stop, and start time. What do you do with it?
Oh, so we're doing that Adam Sandler Click thing. I'm pushing all the buttons. Even the SAP button.

Apparently I'm Chaotic Chaotic right now.

What do you think of buffets?
I like them. a set price for all I can eat? I liked going to Sizzler for that. Then for my niece's (and mine) birthday, we went to a Korean BBQ Buffet place. This happened during covid (in September), so we couldn't go inside to get our food, but I'd go back once this was over.

The other day a friend gifted me with a subscription to VNYL. Once a month I'll be sent a record of new music. Not necessarily new NEW, but either someone I've never heard of or an artist that I put down on my list of artists that I like.

I think I'll get it on Jan 5, so that gives me time to get to my storage unit and grab my record player. If I remember correctly, it has a cord that can plug into my laptop and I can copy the record to my laptop.

I started working on a ficlet that I'll be sharing on Wednesday for my contribution to 1_million_words Advent event. I'll also share it to my writing journal writergurlscrn and post on AO3. I think this is probably the crackiest thing I've written, but I can't get the image of little kids dancing around to Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey...and sorry not sorry if the song gets stuck in your head. It's been stuck in mine all while I've been working on it (the last 30 mins or so).

It's been 14 days since we were in contact with the people from church who have (since) tested positive. More test results are coming out, but for myself, Kim, Colleen, and John, we seem to be in the clear. John has 2 dr appts on Monday and I have 1 on Tuesday.

We are still playing it safe because we plan on getting together for Christmas. And I have a feeling that Lora will contact Colleen or me about going to her place the Sunday before to exchange gifts, but with the positive tests from church 2 weeks ago, she will probably wait until January and ask us to have lunch with her for her and Colleen's birthdays.

Hello, fellow Comment Ficcers! I will be your hostess for this second week, and I am 4bdnsn0wflake. I hope everyone has a fun and inspired time over the next few days.

As you may recall, I always like to start off a hosting week with a word count theme, so today let’s do the classic 25 Word fills. Prompts can be anything, but fills should be 25 words, or multiples thereof.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
