Wednesday is for Book Titles
Jun. 1st, 2021 11:03 pmHello, everyone. I’m
templefugate and today's theme is book titles. Prompts can be any book title, no matter the genre. Fiction, nonfiction, high literature, or trashy pulp - everything's fair game!
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ DC, Harleen Quinzel, Funhouse (Diane Hoh)
+ Disney, any princess, Girl, Stop Apologizing (Rachel Hollis)
+ Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Practical Magic (Alice Hoffman)
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2021 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Jun. 1st, 2021 08:41 amI was able to get 2 of my 3 classes...Art Appreciation WASN'T the missed out class!
I wasn't able to get Business Calculus because I didn't meet the requirements? Umm what? I've taken it in the past and had to drop it, and then I enrolled in it for Spring 2021 and dropped it before the semester started because the professor was asking for more than I could handle technology-wise...so I don't know what the problem is now.
I'm not going to stress over it too much...even though I'm now back a semester after I'd JUST started getting used to the idea that in August/September I'd be applying to universities to actually do work on my bachelor's degree.
Time to make an appt with a counselor and see what's going on.
