Happy Thursday everyone! I'm rockerbaby423  and this is sadly my last day as your host. I’ve had a great time and I hope you did too. This week's final prompt is Episode Titles. Every good story needs a title so why not start with one?


Have fun and remember to follow the rules:

"You know," Steve says, watching Bucky watch him, "I don't think I've ever been this angry." Bucky looks away, so Steve quickly continues, "Not at you. Fuck, not at you. At everything else."

The first thing he did, after letting Fury escort him back to SHIELD, was ask to go see Bucky’s grave. It was days before they told him where the memorial was, and then he didn’t wait to be taken there; he went himself. One of his ‘coaches’ for the future had explained that Bucky wasn’t in there because no one had ever gone looking for his body.

The memorial was nice. Tasteful. Steve had sobbed silently for an hour before returning to SHIELD.

No one ever went looking for Bucky’s body. Bucky never died.

“I’m sorry,” he says now, watching Bucky sit so still, everything tucked in to make himself look smaller. Five guns, seven knives, a garrote, and a grenade are arrayed before him, and his left hand is palm up. He is not defenseless, but Steve is pretty damn sure that Bucky won’t fight back if Steve decides to hurt him.

He breathes through the anger, trying to shove it aside. He has to be calm. Has to think. Sam is out finding something for dinner. Natasha’s check-in won’t be for another three days. Stark is busy with the DC cleanup. Fury’s in the wind.

Bucky knocked on the door and hasn’t said a single word. He disarmed himself, settled on the bed, and has been waiting for – what?

“Do you know who I am?” Steve asks.

Bucky says, “Steve Rogers.” He glances at Steve out the corner of his eye. “Bucky Barnes’ best friend and captain.”

Steve nods, then asks, “Do you know who you are?”

“Bucky Barnes,” Bucky says. “Once. Not anymore.” He slowly inhales and exhales, then looks right at Steve. “I remember everything. But I can’t – I’m not that man.”

Steve nods again. “What do you want to be called?”

“Bucky is fine,” he says. “For now. Until…” His left hand clenches and he slowly opens it.

“Until?” Steve echoes.

“I know where they’re hiding,” Bucky says. “I know the weakpoints. I…” He swallows, glancing at Steve again before dropping his gaze. “I know you.” His breathing quickens before he visibly slows it down and then he says, “I can’t trust anyone. But I trust you.”

“Okay,” Steve says.

Steve’s anger is a quick thing. It’s burns and then extinguishes itself.

"Lorne," John said into his com, "contact the Dadelaus tell Caldwell to pick up our men on the mainland, once you make the contact you and Ford take the jumper immediately to saftey, make sure Caldwell picks up you guys too. And be careful"

"Yes Sir," Lorne replied, "and if not it was an honor working with you."

"Same to you," John said before turning his head to Rodney who had his usual post at the controls. More was at his side rubbing his hand up and down Rodney's arm to reassure him, "Rodney..." He hesitated. The option was discussed between he, Elizabeth, Rodney and More but they did not want to come it. Now it seemed they have no choice.

The nine heroes of Atlantis stood in the control room. They heard nothing but gunfire, sounds of grenades and wailing of both Teyla's child Torren and John's child he had from his previous relationship with Anne, Taylor Elizabeth. Anne, who was clinging her daughter tightly imediately read John's intentions.

"That's it then," She said placing her daughter to her feet with tears in her eyes, Taylor ran over to Tosh who lifted her in her arms and Owen, "you are giving the City to him? The man who had tormented you from the momented you from the moment you met."

"First of all there's no city left," John said between gritted teeth, "if we dial earth....we will drain the ZPM and the city sink back and if the idiots are too stubborn and proud to admit we fooled them, it will take Kolya and his men with her." He took a deep breath and said the words. "Rodney, dial the address."

No one said a word, not even Elizabeth who fought hard to keep this city standing, More who finally found his place amongst a group of people and Teyla who knew this was a relic of the ancients as Rodney's shaking fingers . They all agreed this sacred city belonged to the Ancients, not the enemy.

"You are seriously going to give up!" Anne shrieked as the gate activiated, "this is our home! Some of us have no place to go."

The address taken in and the Kwaoosh fluttered and died. The only thing left to do was....run.

In 1975 Lucia Moretti wont get pregnant and though she will eventually get married and have kids, she will never have a daughter named Mellisa.

After the Battle of Canary Wharf Ianto Jones will be killed when he loses control of his half- cyberman girlfriend.

The Doctor will die for good at the hands of the Daleks on the Gamestation.

River Song will never meet a crazy, wonderful man who takes her from her mediocre life and inspires her to become an archeologist.

The universe will be destroyed when the cracks grow too big to sustain life.

And no one will ever know that it all could have been prevented by the birth of a man who would have taken the name Captain Jak Harkness.
