I'm a Spike fan, and a Xander fan, although I've never seen Spike/Xander before. I have to admit, my first reaction was "...Seriously?" But I ended up actually enjoying it. The awkwardness and the surprise really worked it for me. And the whole thing where Spike is leaning against the doorframe... yeah. So much love for Spike :D
