Sam's never felt anything so soft. He wants to hold the blanket Dean brought home for him and never let it go. It's pretty, too....It has clouds and sheep and a pretty girl in a blue dress to watch over them, just like Dean watches over him. He giggles at the thought of Dean in a blue dress with a silly crooked stick and a bonnet and Dad tells him gruffly to be quiet and go to sleep. He stops laughing and snuggles up to Dean in the back seat of the Impala, making sure his brother is covered too. Sam knows Dean worked hard today because he saw the bruises on his back and shoulder when he came back from firing the shotgun, but Dean says he doesn't mind. Sam knows his brother wants to be strong and tough like their dad, but Sam wishes it wasn't so hard. He wishes his dad had a job like the sheep girl; he thinks it would be fun to play with sheep all day. Dean laughed when Sam told him that and said that dad already takes care of the sheep, they just don't know it. Sam's pretty sure that's a joke, 'cause the only sheep he's ever seen were at a petting zoo they stopped at once a long time ago, but he didn't like the look on Dean's face when he said that so he just laughed too.
Sam stares at the blanket he found buried in the back of the Impala, now faded and covered with oil and dirt, and wishes he could see Dean just one more time.
No porn. Just oceans and rivers of angst and shmoop
