Hello, everyone! I’m scarlet_gryphon, and I'm back with another theme for y'all.

Today’s theme is Camera! Does the click-click-click of a camera's shutter drive someone wild? What's seen through a camera's lens? You're deciding, so prompt away!

Some quick examples:

Star Gate &/or SG:Atlantis, Daniel, any other(s), One ot the teams finds a camera (or the Anciet/alien euivalent) that takes pictures of what is happening in another reality.

In other words:
- Take a picture of the planet's ruins, it shows similar structure, but whole, and with different marking or materials.

- Take a picture of the Gate Room, it shows different people/beings at the controls.

I really want to use this prompt but I'm worried about:

1) What fandom to use because there are so many that this prompt could work with! I could see Draco finding an old camera with photos of him and Pansy on it when he's an 80 year old man (Harry Potter) or Veronica finding a list photo of her and Lily and using all her money she has earned from being a private investigator to create a charity in her name with the help of Logan (Veronica Mars) or even Draculaura going to college after a summer break up with Clawd and finding the photos from their first date (Monster High).

And

2) Lenght!!!! How I could easily sit in front of my computer writing for hours on end going into the tens of thousands of words for each of these ideas that link too your prompt...

I could always write the opening paragraph for each idea and then extend on them in the future :)

He'd insisted on seperate rooms and he knows he's going to have to make up something good tomorrow if he's gonna keep this from Dean.

But this?

This is worth every sidelong glance and insinuating comment. Every crude joke and suspicious scowl.

Because this?

This is Gabriel as he really is and only the two of them (and maybe God, but Sam tries not to think of HIM at times like this) know how long it's been since Gabriel's been able to really rest.

To let go of the masks of trickster god and just let his grace loose from his tightly reined in control. To release the fear and simply trust, as sweetly and innocently as a child. The way he hasn't since before the fall of Lucifer.

Gabriel always acts like he's on camera, the trickster persona built around the need to hide, to present himself as something other than what he is. The archangel appears only off screen.

Like now.

When Sam stands before Gabriel, naked and worshiping; not like a lesser being to a higher one, but as one man to another. The way only lovers can.

Like when Sam's large hands land so gently on Gabriel's skin, as though he's afraid that too rough a touch will cause Gabriel to startle and fly away like a wild bird.

Like when Sam kisses Gabriel like he's precious.

Like when Sam stares at Gabriel like he can see through all the masks to the very center of Gabriel's grace and what he sees is more than worth any pain he may endure when the cameras roll.

Gabriel allows himself to be the angel Sam believes in, but only here and now or in places like this. When it's just them and there is no one to see and judge.

When the only being that might be a witness obviously doesn't mind what is happening.
