Okay I’m giving this pairing a shot. If you’ve read any of the other Crossfire Trails stories this one takes place … Lets say maybe 5 years before the events of the movie.
Neither one of them are sure exactly how they met, they both agree it must have been in a saloon somewhere, because it was always a saloon. Over the years they found themselves gravitating to each other. So it really should have been more of a shock when they woke up in bed together after hard night of drinking and playing cards. Instead Bruce felt himself relax back into the bed and pull the warm body closer. Bruce chuckled to himself when he felt Bo shift his head trying to get even closer. Who would have known that the killer for hire was a snuggler.
Bruce lay there watching the as the rising sun slowly filled the little bedroom with light. He guessed it was close to 6:00am when Bo finally woke and rolled onto his back, away from Bruce. The sound of rustling satin filled the room.
Bruce shifted to his side and propped his head up on his elbow. Smirking when he saw what was causing the sound.
Bo licked dry lips, his mouth and head both feeling thick from the whiskey he’s consumed the night before. “Why the hell am I wearing a dress!?” Bo demanded.
“Well I’d say it was because your last poker hand couldn’t beat my royal flush. I wouldn’t quit your day job Bo, you wouldn’t make a very pretty salon girl.” Bruce teased.
“I don’t remember you complaining last night.” Bo stated in a huff as he moved to get off the bed.
Bruce caught his arm and pulled him back. “Don’t be running off so soon, I paid for the room for the whole day, and Sarah won’t be needing her dress back until tonight.” Bruce had to admit that the Flush on Bo’s face was prettier that the royal flush that lead them to this moment.
