Hello, everyone. I’m simply_aly and today's theme is 100 Words. Prompts can be anything, but the fills can only be one hundred words long.

The rules are the same as they've always been:
-No more than five prompts in a row.
-No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
-No spoilers in prompts.
-If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.

Miles shakes his head and gets that expression Bass is tired of seeing.

“I know where I’m going,” Miles snaps out suddenly, squinting at Bass through the hazy morning glare. “You didn’t have to come. I told you.”

Images assail Bass’ mind – running through fields with Miles, playing at war before knowing what it was, Emma’s hair spilling through his fingers, Miles’s smiling face as Bass had joined him in the line of graduating Marines, Miles’ strong hand guiding him away from his family’s graves.
