A Stormy Wednesday

Hello, everyone. I’m [livejournal.com profile] iantojjackh pinch-hitting guest host for the week. Today's theme is storms. It can be rain, snow, anything and everything in between. Or it can be a person or thing.

The rules still haven't changed:

*No more than five prompts in a row.
*No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
*No spoilers in prompts.

If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.

Prompts should be formatted as follows:

Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...

+ Torchwood, Jack/Ianto, trapped by a blizzard
+ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, any, an electrical storm causes problems on the Bus.
+SGA, John/Elizabeth, The Koyla storm.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Visit the lonely prompt archive and brighten someone’s day. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.

Breathe Into Me, PG-13

((This episode gives me WAYYY too much muse))

Elizabeth placed her hand on his chest where a angry red scar invaded her vision. She curled her fist over it. She bit her lip and looked into his eyes.

"It's my fault," Elizabeth whispered, eyes watering in tears as she gazed into those deep pools of Hazel. They soon disappeared when John moved and buried his head in her neck, pressing his lips against them.

"Lizabeth," He whispered into the skin causing her to moan, lips moved up the side, against the curve of her jaw, "It's not your fault its Kolya's..."

Her fist tightened over his chest, shaking as violently as John did as he convulsed during the feeding. The image of his suffering flashed in her mind like a broken record.

"But I ordered it," Elizabeth said as her eyes met his once again. This time they were more pained and desperate. Seeking the answer and reassurance they needed. One of John's large and calloused hands brushed the hair away from her face. The other gripped the hand gently by the wrist. Delicately he moved it away from his scar and further left. "I might as well been the damn wraith my-"

He silenced her with a small and gentle kiss as he moved her hand to rest to where his heart was beating wildily.

"Feel that Elizabeth," He whispered, "I'm alive..."

He was alive. She felt his breath against her lips. The warmth of his body as he wrapped his arms around her in his embrace and felt the pounding of his heatbeat and its roar. The blood was flowing through his veins.

He was here....he was alive....Kolya lost. Her hand snaked around his head threading in his hair, as her lips crash against his...almost like lightening.

The storm had ended, and here was John proving he was alive by breathing life into her.

SPOILERS 1x22 of AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

*

The screaming starts after Melinda finds Phil kneeling on the floor drawing little circles and lines. It's loud like a siren, piercing eyedrums and rattling through her bones. It's the sound of someone who is scared and in agony.

He's curled up into a ball by the time she makes it to his side. He's holding his ears blocking out an invisible sound.
She's on her knees coaxing him into her arms. He's shaking vigourously.

"Make it stop," He cries out.

It's the drug.

It's taking it's effect....in a negative way.

"It's alright," She whispers, "calm down."

Slowly time passes as she runs her hand through his hair and rocks him back and forth. She whispers words of admiration and love, being his rock and his supoort.

Time passes and the shakes diminish. She feels his arms move at her sides as his head lifts to gaze at her.

"Thank you Melinda," He whispers.

She knows tomorrow the tide will turn for the worst. There will be questions if his symptoms would get worse, or this was just a minor side effect.

But for now she takes the quiet moment before the storm continues.

Sherlock, Sherlock/John, measuring the puddles

Fill

[identity profile] blythechild.livejournal.com 2014-05-14 02:00 pm (UTC)(link)
"Sherlock, what are you doing?"

"Measuring the puddles, John." If rain wasn't pelting Sherlock directly in the face, John imagines that his statement would have contained more sarcasm.

"You're daft. Get inside! Even ducks have greater sense..."

"Preposterous. Ducks have no cognitive abilities whatsoever." Sherlock growls while flicking his fingers over the puddles like a socerer.

"Sherlock," John stomps his foot and makes an impressive splash by mistake. "You cannot measure puddles during a rainstorm!"

"I never said it was easy, John."

Supernatural, John+Dean+Sam

“If you walk out that door, don't ever come back.”

It's the shattered look in his younger son's eyes. The broken whisper from Dean. “Dad...”

For a moment John wants to curse and call himself a fool. But he can't bring himself to show that kind of weakness. Not even in front of his own sons. Then Sam closes his eyes, and when he opens them, there is nothing there. A wall has built itself up between them, one that has no door, and he knows his last chance has finally passed.

Sam grabs his bags and walks to the door. For a long moment, he hesitates, but John doesn't let himself feel hope. If Sam stayed for anything, it would be Dean, but Dean just watches him, as if he knows something John does not.

“If that's the way you want it. Sir.” Sam doesn't slam the door. He just closes it gently behind him.
