He loves Wally. And that's stupid, he knows, but he can't exactly help it. Wally has Linda, and being the Flash, and his whole life laid out neatly in front of him like a pretty picture. He's never faced a day of pain in his life, there's no way he could want anything to do with a fool who's been battered so many times that it's a wonder he still exists.
