Evening, y'all. I'm
schweinsty, and today's theme is fic tropes. Prompts should include or be based on fic tropes. Need some ideas? Here's a list of some to get you started.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
If your prompt or fill contains anything that can be a trigger for the reader, please add a warning for that to give the reader the chance to decide if they want to read or not.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ The Man from UNCLE (film), Gaby Teller/Illya Kuryakin/Napoleon Solo, Canadian (Siberian?) Shack
+ Star Wars, gen, Coffeeshop!AU where Han & Wookie open up The Falcon near Alderaan University...
+ The Man from UNCLE (film), Illya Kuryakin + Napoleon Solo + Gaby Teller, Curtain!Fic where they all leave the business together when Solo's years of service end.
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2015 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2015-09-15 12:05 pm (UTC)fill: wreck-it ralph - the maltese bonbon
Date: 2015-09-21 08:28 pm (UTC)He tried to go straight for her. He became a gumshoe to pay the bills and help those he used to hurt. They've been in some tight jams together, had some good laughs. It wasn't all bad despite the bills piling in.
There was a knock on his office door. Ralph knew by the silhouette that trouble was heading his way.
The intruder walked in, wearing a red dress, feather boa, and high heels. She leaned against the door frame, one hand resting on her forehead.
"Oh, Detective! I desperately need someone," she simpered, dramatic as ever. "Will you... help... me?"
Ralph rolled his eyes and returned to the invoice he was typing up. "Knock it off, Vanellope. Those glad rags ain't gonna to help us get a case."
Vanellope huffed and straightened, hands on her hips. "You ain't gonna land a broad with that kinda attitude."
"My frau's the job, sweetheart. Don't need anything else," Ralph replied, turning back to his paperwork.
"Not even a friend... with a case?" Vanellope asked, holding up a file. Ralph had no clue where she could have hid that on her. Probably the same place where she packed her little bean-shooter, with no one ever the wiser. "What would you do without me, Ralph?"
"I'd be much worse off than I am, doll," Ralph answered honestly. Good friends were hard to come by these days.
(Three days, two car chases, and five shoot-outs later, Ralph was less thankful. Besides being Ralph's lighthouse in the world, Vanellope was also some kinda amnesiac heiress with a crooked lawyer after her title and fortune.
At least it explained how Vanellope was able to hop rooftops in high heels. She had always been trouble.)
