Seriously, this is amazing. I let out the loudest noise when I saw that you were writing these two, and that noise only increased when I actually read it. This is so good! So very good! So amazingly, flailingly good!
"I just want you to know," the boy says when he walks into his classroom on the first day, all the bravado and cocksure swagger of a high school senior, leaning onto his desk with his hands planted on Sinestro's grade book, "you don't scare me."
HAL YOU COCKY DICK. I just love how you write him, especially when he's being like that, because it really reminds me why I love him. He's just so overconfident that you HAVE to be on his side, just a little.
Sinestro folds his arms over his chest and waits for the rest, because of course there's more.
AND I LOVE HOW YOU WRITE SINESTRO TOO. Because, yeah, he's also a dick. And yet I still love him for all his jerkishness. He's a horrible person, and yet he usually does it in such a way that you can't help but feel charmed.
"Don't forget verbally and mentally abusive," Thaal adds casually as he turns around, writes his name on the whiteboard as the rest of the students pour into class.
GDI SINESTRO.
"Yep, those too," the boy says. "I just wanted to say, do your worst Mr. Sinestro, 'cause I'm not going anywhere."
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal *HEART EYES*. I mean, I really do just love how you write him. He's so stubborn and cocky and AMAZINGLY in character.
The tips of his hair are wet and his face is red and Thaal assumes he must have just finished with football practice. He seems the sort.

Jordan says, hopping up on the edge of his desk. "You probably shouldn't be staring at my ass all the time. Whatcha gonna do?"
GDI HAL. <33333 Ugh, this is why I love them together (for much the same reason as I love Hal/Bruce, actually). They just urge each other on SO MUCH. And, yeah, of course Sinestro would look. Sinestro ALWAYS looks.
"You are also beautiful and quite brilliant and I am not a good man. You should leave."
Ngh.
"Do your worst, Mr. Sinestro," Hal grins, so Thaal does.
