We’ve made it to Thursday, and I’m just thrilled! (crowd groans) I remain 4bdnsn0wflake, and today’s theme is The Elements. Prompts should have something to do with Earth, Wind, Fire and/or Water, or the qualities thereof.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

"No." Wade didn't even look up from his beer as the man helped himself to a chair at Wade's table.

"You don't even know what I have to offer." The man's voice was as slippery as the oil greasing back his hair.

"I know you, Melvin, and anything you're involved in I'm not interested in."

"Angel of Death." The man glared through his blond dreadlocks, looking like an annoyed sheepdog. "I thought you were a Merc, Wilson, not a hero. That means you sell yourself to the highest bidder."

Wade swallowed the last of his beer then slammed down the glass. "Nope, that means I work for who I want when I want and I'm not for sale to you and the human garbage of the day you're working for, Melvin."

"Fine." Melvin stood, clearly angry at being refused. ""I'll make sure everyone knows you are too picky to work."

"You do that." Wade stood, looking down at Melvin. "I can use the endorsement."

The water was a deep blue that looked cool and inviting in the sweltering heat of the day. The sand, a beautiful, golden brown, wandered down from the pine forests to connect woods and water seamlessly.

In the water, not far from the shore, but past where the ground drops off two men float, lazily kicking their feet to keep from drifting too far.

Occasionally soft laughter or a murmured word can be heard, floating over the waves, but no more disruptive than the song of a bird or a squirrel's chatter.
