It’s Friday, and I am
4bdnsn0wflake, and I hope everybody had a great time this week.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who left prompts and those who filled them!
The final theme of the week is Communication.
Communicating effectively, miscommunication, communicating with or without words - whatever inspires you, and will perhaps inspire others.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Lucifer, Lucifer Morningstar+/Chloe Decker, “Listen to me!”
+ Ouran High School Host Club, ensemble, somebody didn’t get the memo about that afternoon’s cosplay
+ MCU, Natasha Romanov/Pepper Potts, I can only say these things to you
+ Author’s Choice, any character(s), a miscommunication is the doom of their relationship
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2019 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Date: 2019-10-25 05:37 pm (UTC)Fill, "Lack of Words"
Date: 2019-10-26 02:11 am (UTC)The problem comes up when you're living your actual life that you don't know how to tell the truth.
Fiona could say an awful lot without speaking a single word. It came through in the toss of her hair, in the cock of her hip, in the folding of her arms. In the slant of one perfect brow.
Michael has learned to read all those gestures and many more. Right now, Fi is a live wire, fairly vibrating. From the swift, sharp movements she makes, the twist of her mouth, the furrow of her brow - Michael hopes whoever has her attention is leaving Miami and maybe even the state of Florida.
"He didn't understand me, Michael." Fiona stopped right in front of him. She slammed her palms on the work table, shaking it slightly. Michael raised his eyes and met hers. Hers fairly snapped.
"Well, Fi," Michael said in as flat of a voice as he could, "did you use your words or did you point a gun?"
Her eloquent snort answered that question for him.
