[identity profile] nagi-schwarz.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] comment_fic
Hello, everyone. I’m [livejournal.com profile] nagi_schwarz and today's theme is song titles. Prompts can be the names of any songs, from your favorite songs to fictional songs sung by your favorite characters, songs from musicals or movies or plays or even technically untitled folk tunes, or even the plots from your favorite music videos (please provide a link to the music video if that’s what you’re going for).

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Stargate Atlantis, Elizabeth Weir, Boss (NCT U)
+ BBC Sherlock, Sherlock Holmes +/ John Watson, Psycho (Red Velvet)
+ Forever, Henry Morgan + Abe Morgan, Someday, the Boy (Feel Kim)
+ The Untamed/Modao Zushi, Wei Wuxian + Lan Sizhui, Please Remember (Cha Eunwoo)
+ Hawaii Five-0, Steve McGarrett +/ Danny Williams, Monster (EXO)

We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2020 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Title: Someone to Save

Summary: Malcolm knew he shouldn't love his father. He shouldn't care if he was killed in their attempts to recapture him. But he does care, he does love him and it's tearing him up.

Notes: It takes place at the end of You Can Run… with spoilers for it.

FILL: Teen wolf, Derek/Stiles, cuddle/fluff

On Derek’s soft bed is where Stiles spends a lot of his time these days. It’s a place of comfort and peace, where he feels safe. Derek’s bed is a heaven in which his mate will cuddle with him, hugging him and humming softly, and often Stiles will fall asleep listening to the song, lulled into the dream world by the sensation of the vibrations rumbling through Derek’s chest.

Stiles made a nest for himself on his mate’s bed. Surrounded with fluffy pillows, swaddled under a mound of baby soft fleece blankets, he accepts the cup of hot coffee, holding the mug in his shaking hands.

Heat swarms his palms from the cup, silence fills the air as he pauses to let the soothing warmth soak into his cold hands. Just like his mate, Derek, who is warm and soothing, and comforts him with the rich aroma of heavenly bliss, the coffee makes him smile fondly.

The little sweet grin on Stiles face is the most beautiful thing Derek has seen in a long time.

Stiles took a slow sip of the coffee, resisting the urge to gulp down the steaming treat. The warmth coils slowly through his chilled body, pleasantly heating him. He takes a moment to breathe in deep, let the bliss spread through his shivering body, feeling the iciness melt away by the steam.

He wiggles his numb toes as the little smile on his lips grows bigger, smiling brighter. He could feel the scorch spreading, his skin slowly clearing of the constant goosebumps. He took another sip of his drink before setting it aside as Derek cuddles close to him.

Strong arms circle around his waist, cuddling into Derek’s warm arms. He’s still cold, he sways quickly into Derek’s embrace as the wolf gives off heat like a furnace. Derek kisses his cheek and holds him, rocks him gently, as he sips his warm drink.

Stiles smiles; he likes his man like he likes his coffee; warm and soothing, and brings a smile to his face

♥ END ♥

Fill: Drabble

Henry sat and watched as Abe pottered around in the kitchen. Was this what he’d expected? When he’d held the infant in his arms, had he really imagined watching him grow into a man? Perhaps, what parent doesn’t. But to watch this infant become an old man, even Henry hadn’t thought about that. He wondered whether he regretted not giving the thought some consideration. But at the time, what had seemed important was that Abe had a loving home, and nothing else had mattered. And now the memories of Abe growing up remained some of the ones he held closest.

any, any, "November Rain" By Guns N' Roses
From: [identity profile] brumeier.livejournal.com
John sat in his usual spot, War and Peace open in his hands but unread. Outside a cold rain was falling, beating hard against the windows of 221B. A little bit colder and it would’ve been snow. Had been already, a week or so ago.

He was enjoying the downtime. They were between cases, there was no pressing personal business that needed attending to, and the cupboard was fully stocked. With the bad weather outside, and the crackling fire in the fireplace, John was tempted to take a little nap in his chair.

Sherlock didn’t do downtime well.

He’d paced the length and breadth of the apartment. He’d poked at some of the disgusting science experiments he kept in the fridge, one of which had him cursing and grumbling. He’d turned his bedroom upside down looking for a missing button.

Currently, he was sitting on the sofa with his violin, glaring at it as if the polished wood had offended him in some way.

John had lived with Sherlock long enough to know how easy it was for the man to get lost in his own head. Too many thoughts were bouncing around in there and he didn’t have a way to focus them.

“Sherlock. Play it or put it away.”

Sherlock looked up at him, face completely blank. John wondered if he’d retreated to his internal mind palace, but then Sherlock blinked.

“What?”

“The violin. You keep looking at it like that, it might burst into flame.”

Sherlock transferred his glare to John but put the instrument away.

“It seems unlikely that there hasn’t been a single crime in the entirety of London,” he muttered.

John held his tongue, not pointing out that Lestrade and Scotland Yard were more than capable of solving the average crime. It was the above-average ones where they needed Sherlock’s assistance.

John dogeared the page in his book and set it aside. He knew one way to get Sherlock’s focus back.

“Wanna shag?” John asked, waggling his eyebrows.

“Sexual relations are not the answer to every problem, Sheppard,” Sherlock said snappishly. But a faint blush stained the pale skin on his delicate cheekbones.

“Good way to pass the time,” John replied. He stretched, making sure his sweater rode up enough to show some of the bare skin on his stomach.

He could play Sherlock almost as well as he played the guitar.

Much later, John stood by the window in his bedroom, looking out at the night. The darkness wasn’t complete, not in the city, but he could still make out some stars. Sherlock was sleeping in the bed, sprawled and boneless in a way he rarely was when he was awake. Sleep softened him, took the edge off his intensity.

John hadn’t told Sherlock he was leaving. He had to go home in a couple of days, fly back to the States for a funeral. His father’s funeral. John was worried his brother might try to talk him into staying and helping out with the family business. He was more worried that Sherlock wouldn’t even notice he was gone.

Hearts can change, or so the song went. Had John’s? He was pretty sure it had. And maybe Sherlock wouldn’t miss him, but the opposite wouldn’t be true. John would come back to London.

Everybody needs somebody. Even Sherlock Holmes.
