Tuesday: Dialogue Only

Greetings! It’s 4bdnsn0wflake again. Today’s theme is Dialogue Only. Prompts can have dialogue in them or not, but fills should consist of dialogue only.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.

"The bird's been weirdly quiet. I guess they're taking a nap, but Shadow's still here. Hasn't left your side."

"What, V? Stay awake."

"Shadow likes you. Trusts you."

"Is that right? Not a fan of Dante, though, I've noticed."

"Oh?"

"Wouldn't let him get near you."

"I see. ...Did he now?"

"What?"

"Shadow says you stopped a few demons from killing me."

"Oh. Well. When you put it like that..."

"What phrasing would you prefer?"
